Last fact-check:
Testing disclosure: iGaming AI Search tested OtterlyAI during its 7-day free trial across three real iGaming websites: two affiliate sites and one casino/sportsbook site. The trial gave us 50 monitored prompts and 100 GEO audits, and no credit card was required. We tested Arabic/Egypt and English/New Zealand use cases. We also participate in OtterlyAI’s affiliate program and may earn a commission if you sign up through links on this page. Commercial relationships do not determine our editorial conclusions.
OtterlyAI is one of the better-known AI visibility and GEO tools, and its current product goes well beyond simple prompt monitoring. It combines brand visibility tracking, prompt research, citation analysis, GEO audits, content checks, crawlability checks, Query Fan-Out and recommendations.
After testing it directly, our view is more mixed than with Omnia. We liked OtterlyAI’s Content Checker, its AI Prompt Research workflow and the fact that the 7-day trial requires no card. But we found setup slower, competitor discovery weaker and geographic coverage less complete for our iGaming use cases.

Our Otterly AI Test
We tested OtterlyAI on three real iGaming websites rather than a generic demo project:
- 2 affiliate sites – useful for testing prompt discovery, publisher visibility and GEO content checks.
- 1 casino/sportsbook site – useful for testing brand discovery, competitors and operator-oriented prompts.
We used two very different language/market combinations: Arabic with Egypt and English with New Zealand. That mattered because iGaming AI visibility is heavily market-specific.
The free trial lasted seven days and gave us 50 prompts and 100 GEO audits. OtterlyAI’s current signup documentation confirms that its free trial does not require a credit card and includes 50 search prompts.
Onboarding: Good Explanation, Slower Setup
One thing we liked immediately was the onboarding explanation video. OtterlyAI does a good job of explaining what the platform is trying to measure before asking the user to configure prompts, brands and competitors.
The downside was speed. Initial setup and analysis took noticeably longer than we expected. During one project, OtterlyAI displayed a message explaining that analysing the brand across multiple AI search engines was taking longer than expected.

That is not necessarily a data-quality problem – OtterlyAI explicitly prioritises accuracy over speed – but in our experience it made onboarding feel slower than Omnia.
Otterly AI Prompt Research
OtterlyAI’s AI Prompt Research was one of the stronger parts of the platform.

The tool currently offers several ways to build a prompt set:
- turn existing SEO keywords into AI search prompts;
- analyse a URL to discover relevant prompts;
- brainstorm prompts from a brand and domain;
- import prompts manually or by CSV.
We tested the brand-based workflow and used it to generate Arabic-language prompts for crypto casino and betting topics. OtterlyAI generated a usable set of Arabic questions, and the interface let us review and select the prompts before adding them to monitoring.

OtterlyAI’s current documentation says Prompt Research supports Arabic, English and many other languages, while monitoring itself can accept prompts in any language.
Competitor Discovery Was the Weakest Part of Setup
This was our clearest negative.
OtterlyAI automatically suggested competitors during setup, but in our test the suggestions were not sufficiently accurate for the iGaming projects we were monitoring. We had to correct the list manually.

For comparison, this is one of the areas where we preferred Omnia: its competitor discovery felt more relevant from the start.
This matters in AI visibility software because poor competitor selection distorts share-of-voice and brand-ranking reports. A tool can calculate perfectly accurate metrics against the wrong comparison set and still produce strategically weak conclusions.
Otterly AI Visibility Tracking and Brand Monitoring
OtterlyAI’s core product is daily AI visibility tracking and brand monitoring.
Current reports can include:
- Brand Visibility Index;
- domain ranking;
- brand mentions;
- share of voice;
- sentiment;
- citation sources and link citations;
- competitor comparisons;
- country and AI-engine filters.
This makes OtterlyAI a genuine AI brand visibility dashboard, rather than simply a tool that runs one-off ChatGPT prompts.
However, because our hands-on test lasted only seven days, we would not claim to have validated long-term trend accuracy. Our review is strongest on setup, prompt research, market configuration and GEO audit functionality.
Country Coverage: Good, but Not Complete
OtterlyAI supports more than 60 markets and has continued expanding geographic coverage. Egypt was available during our test and worked for our Arabic prompt research.
But coverage was not universal. Kuwait was not available in the country selector during our October 2026 test. For an iGaming business focused on GCC markets, that is a meaningful limitation.
This is worth checking before subscribing because a prompt tracked in multiple countries counts separately against the prompt allowance, and the usefulness of an AI visibility platform depends heavily on whether your actual target markets are supported.
Otterly AI GEO Audit Tools
The GEO Audit section was the part of OtterlyAI we found most differentiated from a basic AI rank tracker.

OtterlyAI currently divides the GEO Audit into three main tools:
- Crawlability Checker – tests whether AI crawlers can access a page;
- Content Checker – evaluates how well the page is prepared for AI understanding;
- Query Fan-Out – shows how AI/search systems may expand one prompt into related sub-queries.

Content Checker: Our Favourite Otterly AI Feature
The Content Checker was probably the feature we liked most.
It evaluates whether content is static and readable by AI crawlers, then gives a readiness score across factors such as clarity, external linking, illustration opportunities, terminology, modular content and paragraph cohesion.
In one of our tests, the page received a 68% readiness score while the platform reported that the content was 100% static/readable. The value here was not the number alone; it was the breakdown showing what OtterlyAI thought could be improved.

For publishers trying to make content easier for AI agents to understand and reference, this is more actionable than a simple visibility chart.
Query Fan-Out
We also tested Query Fan-Out.
The idea is useful: one AI prompt may trigger multiple related searches or sub-queries behind the scenes. OtterlyAI attempts to expose those expansions so you can see additional questions and content gaps related to the original prompt.
OtterlyAI currently supports Query Fan-Out for ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews, and also offers a standalone free version of the tool.
How OtterlyAI Query Fan-Out works
Otterly AI Pricing
OtterlyAI’s current monthly pricing is:
| Plan | Monthly price | Prompts | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $29/month | 15 | Solo marketers / small teams |
| Standard | $189/month | 100 | SMEs and small marketing teams |
| Premium | $489/month | 400 | Mid-sized companies and agencies |
| Enterprise | Custom | From 1,000 | Large/global teams |
Annual billing currently receives a 15% discount. Extra 100-prompt packages are available on Standard and Premium, while additional AI engines such as Gemini, Google AI Mode and Claude are separate paid add-ons.
One pricing advantage is that the Lite plan still includes daily monitoring, brand visibility/sentiment analysis, citation tracking, Prompt Research, Query Fan-Out and GEO audits.
Otterly AI Free Trial
OtterlyAI currently offers a 7-day free trial with no credit card required.
Our trial included:
- 50 search prompts;
- 100 GEO audits;
- access to Prompt Research;
- brand/competitor setup;
- GEO audit tools.
OtterlyAI’s current signup documentation confirms the seven-day trial and 50-prompt allowance without requiring payment-card details.
What We Liked
- Good onboarding explanation: the introductory video makes the workflow easy to understand.
- AI Prompt Research: useful for converting keywords, URLs or brand information into prompts.
- Arabic support: worked well enough for our Egypt-focused prompt research.
- Content Checker: our favourite feature and one of OtterlyAI’s strongest differentiators.
- Query Fan-Out: useful for discovering related AI search intents.
- No-card trial: easy to evaluate before paying.
- Accessible entry price: Lite remains one of the cheaper paid AI visibility plans we monitor.
What We Didn’t Like
- Setup was slow. Initial analysis took longer than we expected.
- Competitor discovery was weak in our test. We had to replace or manually add relevant competitors.
- Country coverage is not complete. Kuwait was unavailable during our test.
- Several major AI engines cost extra. Gemini, Google AI Mode and Claude are not included in the standard four-engine set.
- We preferred Omnia overall. Omnia’s initial competitor discovery and action/recommendation workflow felt better suited to our iGaming use cases.
Otterly AI vs Omnia
Because we have now tested both platforms directly, this is the comparison we can make with the most confidence.
| Area | OtterlyAI | Omnia |
|---|---|---|
| Initial setup | Slower in our test | Faster / smoother |
| Competitor discovery | Weak for our projects; manual correction needed | Better initial suggestions |
| Prompt research | Strong | Strong |
| GEO content audit | Excellent Content Checker | Less central to our use case |
| Query Fan-Out | Built in | Different workflow |
| Country coverage | 60+ markets, but Kuwait missing in our test | Unlimited countries/languages listed |
| Action/recommendation layer | Recommendations available | We preferred Omnia’s Agent/Recommendations workflow |
| Starting paid price | $29/month | €79/month |
| Our overall iGaming preference | Good, especially for audits | Omnia |
If price is the main consideration, OtterlyAI’s Lite plan is much cheaper. If we were choosing primarily for our current iGaming monitoring workflow, we would choose Omnia.

Best Otterly AI Alternatives
If OtterlyAI is not the right fit, the strongest alternatives depend on what you need.
| Alternative | Best for | Why consider it |
|---|---|---|
| Omnia | iGaming teams wanting stronger competitor setup + action workflow | Our preferred hands-on option |
| Peec AI | Structured AI visibility analytics | Strong monitoring/reporting focus |
| Profound | Enterprise teams | Broader governance and enterprise analytics |
| Semrush AI Visibility | Existing Semrush users | Fits into an established SEO stack |
| SE Visible | Teams needing more prompts | Larger prompt allowances at comparable entry pricing |
We plan to publish a dedicated Otterly AI alternatives comparison because that is a distinct buying intent from an OtterlyAI review.

Is Otterly AI Worth It for iGaming?
Yes for some teams, but it would not be our first choice after testing both OtterlyAI and Omnia.
OtterlyAI makes the most sense if you want a relatively inexpensive entry point into AI visibility tracking and you value its GEO audit tools – especially Content Checker and Query Fan-Out.
For iGaming teams that care heavily about accurate competitor discovery, broader geographic flexibility and a stronger recommendation/action layer, we preferred Omnia.
The good news is that OtterlyAI’s no-card seven-day trial makes this easy to test for yourself before committing.

Is Otterly AI a GEO or AEO tool?
Yes. In addition to monitoring, OtterlyAI includes GEO-focused tools such as Crawlability Checker, Content Checker, Query Fan-Out and optimization recommendations. These overlap with what marketers commonly call GEO and AEO workflows.
How much does Otterly AI cost?
At our latest fact-check, monthly plans start at $29 for Lite with 15 prompts. Standard costs $189 with 100 prompts, Premium costs $489 with 400 prompts, and Enterprise pricing is custom.

Which is better, Omnia or Otterly AI?
In our hands-on iGaming testing, we preferred Omnia overall because competitor discovery was stronger and the recommendation/action workflow felt more useful. OtterlyAI was better value at the entry level and its Content Checker was one of the best GEO-audit features we tested.
What are the best Otterly AI alternatives?
Relevant alternatives include Omnia, Peec AI, Profound, Semrush AI Visibility and SE Visible. The best choice depends on budget, prompt volume, geographic needs, reporting and whether you want monitoring only or a broader optimization workflow.
Final Verdict
OtterlyAI is a capable AI visibility and GEO tool with an unusually accessible entry price and a genuinely useful audit toolkit.
Its strongest feature in our test was the Content Checker, followed by Prompt Research and Query Fan-Out. The free trial is generous enough to understand the workflow without entering a card.
But the product also had clear weaknesses for our use case: slower setup, poor competitor suggestions and missing country coverage for Kuwait. After testing both platforms, we preferred Omnia for day-to-day iGaming AI visibility work.
For a budget-conscious affiliate or team that wants strong GEO audit tools, however, OtterlyAI is absolutely worth testing.
